On March 2nd, 2022, at the age of 83 years, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Bernice Beryl Bailey went to be with her Lord and Savior, whom she loved and served all her days. Predeceased by her parents: Alexander and Amelia Belbin from New Chelsea, Trinity Bay and younger brother Leonard. Left to mourn with cherished memories are her husband, Willard of 61 years, her four children: Verna White (Claude), Clarence (Tammy), Carl, Melissa Hiscock (Rob), grandchildren: Melanie Erickson (Brad), Jonathan White (Tessa), Chelsea Heavyrunner , Tesla Heavyrunner, Dakota White, Brody White, Leah Bailey (Michael), Melissa Scott, Jake Scott (Zoe), Nathaniel Hiscock, great-grandchildren: Ethan White, Emma Erickson, Makio White, Milia White, Arthur Day Chief, sisters: Marjorie Orgain and family, Elsie Rideout (Walt) and family, brother: Wilson Belbin (Ida) and family, Alexander Belbin and his mother, her cat/fur baby Tommy. Also a large circle of extended family, friends and the special staff of Aurora Estates. According to COVID restrictions, visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, March 7th, 2022 from 3 pm – 7 pm. Funeral service will take place in The Salvation CBS Army Corps, Long Pond on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 at 10:30 am. Vaccination Passport and Identification is required to attend visitation. A live stream of the funeral service will be available on The Salvation Army CBS Corps Face book page. Proof of vaccination and masks are required to attend in person. Interment in the New Chelsea Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers accepted or donations may be made to The Salvation Army CBS Corps Building Fund.
