TO THE BALL FAMILY...
Mr Ball, affectionatley known as Albert, and his wife Ruby were both a well known and respected couple at All Saints Parish in CBS. The right-side front centre pew was 'theirs', from which they made their way to the lectern for regular Sunday readings. After Ruby’s sudden passing, Albert maintained 'their' spot, almost always one of the first persons seated alone in his pew each Sunday morning, stalwartly facing the altar. We have had the fortunate privilege to regularly share a table with both Ruby and Albert for the weekly Tea Room fellowship luncheons each Wednesday. Albert was always open and honest, and shared his views simply and succinctly with his unique accent. He will surely be missed by many, but to use his own words, he will no longer be lonely, as he is now reunited with the love of his life - Ruby. May God Bless their souls.
