Obituary of Edward Farrell

Edward John Farrell

 January 29^th, 1942 – June 11^th, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Edward John Farrell, of Long Pond (formerly Bell Island); on June 11, 2022, at the age of 80 years.

Predeceased by his parents Benedict and Marie (nee Hurley), his sister Mary, and his parents’ in-law William and Mary Stoyles. 

Lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Margaret, (nee Stoyles); his six boys Eddy (Betty), Bernie (Jill), Sean (Wendy), Scott (Josie), Billy (Brenda), and Dean (Heather). Seventeen grandchildren Lindsay, Sean, Melanie, Teddy, Josh, Ian, Ashilynn, Scottie, Aaron, Alyssa, William, Whitney, Jeremey, Waylon, Wynona, Isabella, and Annabeth. Six great-grandchildren Nikhlin, Jackson, Emrys, Elliya, Berlin, Lyla.

His brothers Kevin (Judy), and Brian (Bonnie); his sisters Rose-Marie, Cynthia, and Alice. Brother in-laws Frank, Ron (Sadie), and Bren (Phyllis). His special card friends. And a very large circle of extended family and friends.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 14^th  and 15^th, 2022 from 2-8pm. Funeral to take place on Thursday, June 16^th , 2022 at 11am with Mass of Christian Burial from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuels. Interment will be in St. Edwards Cemetery, Kelligrews.
