Stafford, Gary McKenzie
September 30th, 1957 – September 16th, 2022
Gary passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at the age of 64. He is predeceased by his beloved parents: Derek and Annie Stafford, grandparents: Herbert and Rachel Squires and Benjamin and Florence Stafford, uncles: Fred, Marvin, Junior, Cal and Leonard. Also step-daughter: Melanie Rae and step-granddaughter: Laylah Rae. Gary was an amazing partner, step-dad, step-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a strong man with a gentle soul and generous to all. Beloved partner of Bev, with whom he shared 11 wonderful years with. Leaving to mourn brothers: Neil (Shannie), Paul (Bev), Dean, special niece and nephew: Nikita (Dylan) and Kurtis, step-daughters: Bobbi-Lynn (Greg) and Danielle, step-grandkids: MacKenzie, Natalie, Amir and Jackson. Special thanks to family physician: Dr Aguilar and Dr’s and Nurses of 4 South A, 4 North A and ICU. Also special thanks to Archdeacon Ed Keeping who Gary met and adored during his hospital stay. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, September 19th, 2022 from 3 pm – 7 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022 at 11 am.
