Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022, John Bruce Connolly of Conception Bay South (Foxtrap), age 74 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Bernice (Mason) of 48 years in 2021; parents Bruce and Louise (Ivany) of St. John’s (Craigmiller Ave/ Old Topsail Road); brothers Nelson & Basil and sisters Clare Ann, & Patricia. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his son Jason Connolly (Anna) and grandson Justin; sister Delores (David) of Nasuha, New Hampshire & brother Wayne of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia; a large number of extended family, as well as numerous close friends gained over a 47 year residency in Conception Bay South and career with the CN Railway. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 from 4 pm – 7 pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday, September 30th, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Mount Carmel Columbarium in St. John’s. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
