Aunt Annette, Vicky and Kelli, our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. Paul and I wish we could have been there to provide support and give you comfort during these past few weeks, please know that you were never far from our minds. I have so many great memories of my time with Uncle Peter and always considered him to be the “cool” Uncle, I guess due to him being closer to my age! The year he was diagnosed brought so much grief to all of us that I longed for the opportunity to take him to the Rockies as he always dreamed of but we ended up on a road trip to Labrador instead, he enjoyed it just the same as was his easy going nature. Aunt Annette, you both extended such wonderful hospitality to Paul while he attended a Naval business trip to St. John’s back in the early 2000’s that he still speaks of how kind and generous you both were to him and how much he enjoyed Uncle Peter’s stories. Uncle Peter touched many of our lives mainly due his generosity, kindness, and great sense of humour. I am grateful that we were blessed with such a wonderful Uncle, we will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace knowing his suffering has ended. We love you all very much.
