Obituary of Bernice Nugent

Bernice Nugent (nee Snow) July 09, 1961 – November 11, 2022

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on November 11th, 2022, age 61 years. Bernice is predeceased by her beloved husband: Roger; her adored mother: Stella Kelloway Snow (nee Antle), her father: John Snow; Brothers: Frank, Henry; Sisters: Mary, Roz, Hilda and Helen; and a very special niece Sharon. Leaving to mourn her brothers: John (Brenda), Gary (Sheila) and her sisters: Susan (Nick) Stancheson, Carol Chalifour, Janet Baird, Daphne (Paul) Batten; Marg Snow her sister-in-law, Marg Antle her Aunt; as well as special nephews Tyler and Ryan Chaytor; along with numerous other nieces and nephews. Also leaving to mourn are her loving in-laws: Ursula and Anthony Nugent; Kenny, Terry (Rhonda); Debbie (Walter) Corbett and Joy (Todd) Davis; sister-in-law: Debbie Chafe. Also, Bernice is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
A very special thank you to all the Medical Team of the HSC who over the years have shown great care and compassion to Bernice. To the Nurses of the Dialysis Unit, your kindness and warmth was a blessing to Bernice. Visitation will take place at Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay South, on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 from 3-7 pm. Funeral Service will be held in Hickeys Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 17th, 2022 at 1030am. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kelligrews.
