Obituary of Roxane Greeley

Greeley, Roxane Angela Michelle

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Hinton Healthcare Centre, Alberta on Wednesday November 23, 2022, age 45 yrs. after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by her loving mother Linda, grandmother Joan, grandmother Gertrude, grandfather Frank, aunt/godmother Betty and special Angel Zachary Tobin. Leaving to mourn her loving brother Gregory and sister-in-law Stephanie; her adored niece Madison (Maddy Cakes) and Nephew Brendan (Boogsy), her father David, her step-father Gerald, Aunt Sharon (Old Lady) and Uncle Rick (Popsy) and her best friend in the world, Amanda Upshall (Thelma and Louise). Also, a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Special friends, Arnold and Bonnie Fagan and their family (The Girls), her work family at Jasper Park Lodge, and at Civeo.

Roxane left her home in CBS shortly after High School when she was 18. She worked in Jasper Park Lodge for many years and this is where she made her home and formed many wonderful lifetime friendships. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there, but never lost touch with family and friends at home.

Roxane had such a positive impact on many people’s lives with her easy-going, and fun-loving personality. There was nobody that she met that didn’t enjoy her company. She was always there to brighten the lives of others and put everybody else’s needs before her own.

She had a passion for traveling and it didn’t matter the location. She particularly enjoyed going to Boston, Niagara Falls, and New York. She was spontaneous and loved adventure. She enjoyed hockey, wrestling, coaching softball, the Boston Bruins, shopping on Amazon, and road trips with her best friend, Amanda. They had three hockey stadiums left to visit.

Over the past few years, Roxane spent a lot of time home in CBS. She got to spend her precious time remaining with her beloved niece and nephew and many other family and friends. Even in her worst times, she always had a smile or laugh for everyone around her. She lived life to the fullest and will be missed dearly.
