My sincere condolences to Pamela and Howard on your Dad's passing. Dave was a great man who served his community tirelessly for many years. I always admired his attention to detail and keen observation skills which served him well throughout his many years of service. The lighter side of Dave included a quick wit and an uncanny memory from which he drew many humorous stories that he often shared. Can't you just picture him now telling one of his stories, always with a smile and a comedic undertone, surely a gift to behold. He loved his family dearly and is now re-united with Helen. He will be forever loved and missed. Rest in peace, Dave.

Obviously, he inspired me well as I'm still an active member to this day. He was a gentleman through and through. RIP Dave.

I was sorry to see that Dave has made his exit from the stage of life
His life was admirable in many ways and many people were the beneficiaries of his good will - service -dedication and good humour .
I knew him best as a Masonic Brother - that Organization was very important to him and his presence in the various Lodges he attended enhanced those gatherings
Dave was a good man --in his day and generation he took his part and gave more than he took from the life he lived
He is now at rest and may that rest be in peace

Pamela & Howard, your Dad was one of a kind! I never met a man who could spend 2 hours stood in the doorway talking cause he didn't have time to come in for a cup of tea! He made me Ox tail stew, and jam, and whenever i stoped in, he'd tell me to take all the black jelly beans! We have missed seeing him every day at the Salon these last few months and will feel this loss for a long time. We speak of him often and will remember him always.
