I am very sad to hear of Linda’s passing. Though I lived in Newfoundland for a short time of my life, she made my time there much more enjoyable. I always enjoyed her Sunday dinners and pleasantries. She always made me feel welcome no matter what. She had an impact on me before we even met in person. She was a wonderful lady. My condolences go to Pat (Go Chigargo!), Gary and Christy and family and especially Wayne and Melissa and their children. I am sorry for your loss.

We are very shocked and sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was a lovely lady and so devoted to her family. Linda took such great care of her beautiful Scottish mother. She would drive her and other Scottish ladies, including my mother, to all the special luncheons and reunions of the War Brides. Shocked & saddened to hear of Linda's passing. We were classmates Gr1-6, including three years in Southside school. I remember her for her quiet, friendly, unassuming manner & also remember some fun celebrations for her birthday in the '60's in her home, with her dear Mom.. In heartfelt sympathy and prayer to Pat, Gary, Wayne and families and the Brophy and Bruce families in your time of grief and loss. It is hardest to say goodbye to those we love and who matter the most. Linda and I go back a long way to our school days at Assumption and Roncalli. We were friends and hung around together at the time. Life happens and we branched off on our career paths and had our families. Fast forward to years later where we connected through our sons, Wayne and AJ, who went to school together and played on the same softball and basketball teams. We attended many games and besides being their biggest fans, we were in eachother’s company and reminisced and had many chats and laughs. Linda was a very friendly, jovial, gentle, kind, caring and compassionate lady. She was truly a blessing and her family and friends were blessed to have her in their lives and proud to call her Mom, Lynn, Nan and friend. She will be greatly missed. May your cherished and treasured memories comfort you and may you keep her memory alive in your hearts. She earned her wings and a peaceful rest. Taken too soon! As in life, your guardian angel will continue to watch over you. May her gentle soul rest in peace. God bless,
