To all Lorraine’s family I am so sorry you have lost your dear one. How do you bid farewell to such a dear daughter, wife, sister, aunt, friend? She was brighter than the sun. A heart as big as gold, a passion for family and friends, a mouth like a sailor. She was truly unique. She had a way of drawing you to her that made you feel special and loved. We always laughed together about the time in grade 7 when I wore a quirky outfit to school and she decided then and there I was going to be a best friend. Richard, Mary, Sheila and family very sad to hear of Lorraine’s passing. She was a good friend for years and Grace always called her Aunt Lorraine that was the kind of person Lorraine was people loved her and she left an impression on all who knew her. You could depend on her giving you advice the good the bad and even ugly sometimes she never sugar coated or told you what you wanted to hear it was always honesty that you could count on. I use to tell her being a hairdresser was like being your customer therapist as she had that way with her. She was the strongest person I knew and never gave up she faced everything so courageously. Sorry we can’t be there in person but we are thinking of you all and sending our love as you begin to go each day with out your precious Lorraine. A true angel always loved ❤️

Lorraine was an amazing person. She’s been my internet friend for years. She would occasionally message me with encouragement when she knew things were tough. She once bought some items from me that I shipped to Canada, while I was in busing school and knew I needed money. She was always kind and encouraging, and I loved her sense of humor. She was always collecting the coolest stuff, and I loved her posts of her “finds”. She also posted her a lot about her amazing husband and her sweet puppy. The world was a better, brighter place with her in it. She will truly be missed. Love you, Lorraine, and glad you are no longer in pain.
