Obituary of David Francis Jacob Piercey

June 11, 1970 – January 14, 2023

It is with broken hearts, we the family of David Francis Jacob Piercey announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, son. Predeceased by his grandparents: Emily Sterling and John Piercey, Abram and Annie Jane Petten and baby nephew: Brandon Percy.

David is survived by his loving wife Vicki, children: Jacob (Bec), Jessica (Zachary), his parents: Harold and Mary Piercey, sisters: Christine (Paul), Barbara (Lyndon), Jennifer (Collins), brother: Andrew Cole, mother and father-in-law: Melvin and Priscilla (Rideout), brother-in-law: Ira (Betty), along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. David loved the simple things in life and spending time with his precious family and his oh so loved dogs, they were his passion, and he loved dog shows and his dog show friends. David was gifted with the talent of woodworking; he enjoyed projects big and small. He enjoyed planning and harvesting his many crops during the summer and, when his health allowed, loved dog sledding in the winter.

He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always remembered in our hearts.

We are sincerely grateful to our many friends and family who have given us strength and comfort during this time of loss.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, CBS on Wednesday, January 18^th, 2023 from 12-4 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 19^th, 2023 at 11am. Interment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
