Obituary of Arthur Douglas Gosse

Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness, Arthur Douglas Gosse, aged 76 years of Paradise, NL. Doug was a hardworking, self-sufficient man who enjoyed to ‘wet a line’ and have a boil-up in the woods. He and Bev travelled throughout the province taking in scenery, catching a few fish and picking a few berries – which, they were happy to share with everybody. Predeceased by his partner: Bev Hoskins, parents: Harry and Dulcie Gosse and sister: Joan Speirs. Doug is survived by his two sons and two grandchildren

Left to celebrate Doug’s life, siblings: Shirley (Art White), Robert (Lorraine) Gosse, Leslie Gosse and David Gosse, brothers-in-law: Harold and Trevor Hoskins who showed tremendous kindness and acts of friendship, and friends: Jerome Coady and Val Marsh who shared a mutual affection and special friendship over the years, and a large extended family.

Thank you to the medical staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate care during Doug’s illness. Cremation has taken place. No funeral service will be held at this time.
