It is with great sorrow and fond memories that the family of the late Maisie Mary (Boland) Young age (92) announce her peaceful passing on January 27th, 2023 after a brief illness at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by parents: Peter and Sarah Boland, husband: Stanley Young, son: Ivan Bungay granddaughter: Tracy Bungay, siblings: Bertha Gill, Clarence Boland, Sandy Boland, Jean Churchill, Alexander Boland, Bernice Boland, Marion Boland. Leaving to mourn brother: Clyde Boland, children: Len Bungay (Theresa), Shirley Taylor (Bill), Cyril Jr Bungay (Judy), Kathy Bungay (Mark), Terry Bungay (Lora), Shawn Bungay (Laura), Rebecca Petten (Rod), grandchildren: Ian Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Tamara Petten, Jared Petten, Jason Bungay, Elena Bungay, Eshia Bungay, Nicole Jarvis, Steve Bungay, Sarah Cox, Tracey Doyle and 14 great grandchildren. A special thank you to all the staff at Karwood Retirement Retreat for all the love and care that they have shown to Maisie for all these years. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, CBS on Monday, January 30th, 2023 from 4 – 7 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 at 11:30 am. Interment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
