I was saddened to receive this news today. I am so grateful to have known such a loyal, resilient, strong and hardworking woman. She had known her share of loss, pain, and grief, yet she faced each challenge with strength and never complained. I admired her so much for who she was, for the beautiful family she and her husband raised and that her focus was with her husband as they lived the most beautiful life together growing and harvesting vegetables and enjoying their time at their cabin. She was a quiet and kind lady who always treated me with generosity and kindness whenever Morris and I came to visit. She’d always treat the dogs with cheese and sneak in a few more pieces when we weren’t looking. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this most difficult time, especially for Mr. Power, as they were both the cutest and most adorable couple ever and I know he loves her and will miss her very much. I will forever have the fondest memories of her and may she rest in power and peace.
