It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Craig at his home on March 28th, 2023, age 57 years. Craig lived a life that he loved in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating and riding his motorcycle. He loved family, laughter and a good hockey game. He loved being a father and especially a grandfather. His good humour and positive outlook were infectious. Predeceased by his parents: Bessie Ellsworth and Thomas Abbott. Left with precious and loving memories his wife: Roxanne, daughter: Miranda Murphy (Josh), sisters: Kay Wall (Robert), Marilyn Abbott, granddaughters: Brittany Penton and Darcy Murphy, stepsons: Stephen Harding and Ian Harding, mother-in-law: Louise Seaman (Dave), father-in-law & fishing buddy: Warren Rodgers (Diane), sister-in-law: Jennifer Yetman (Cyril), brothers-in-law: Jeff Rodgers (Darlene), Troy Rodgers and Justin Seaman (Sherry), niece: Amanda (Darrell), great-niece: Taylor, nieces: Bridget, Anna and Beth, nephew: David, special friend: Kevin Mouland. Also aunts, uncles and a large circle of extended family and friends. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Friday, March 31st, 2023 from 3 – 7 pm. Funeral service in Topsail United Church, Topsail on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 at 2 pm. Thank you to CBS Paramedics, Cst.
