To all of Walter's Family: Please accept my sincere condolences on Walter's passing. I knew him as a kind, gentle and humble man who was always there to help someone. He was a keen and avid member of St. Peter's Men's Service Club and was greatly appreciated for all his efforts. May he rest in eternal peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. Walter was a wonderful man and a great family friend. We have many memories and pictures that will keep him forever in our heart and our memories. I imagine he and dad are having a fine chat:)

Kay and family my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have wonderful memories of Walt and Kay from when they were members of the senior NCO mess in St. John's. Friday nights at happy hour with their friends enjoying themselves. He was so meticulous in fixing hundreds of fishing poles and reels in his beloved shed. He will be thoroughly missed.

Terry , roger and family sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I remember walt when he had the esso gas station on torbay rd by zellers when you lived on mcdonald drive. He was a good man to deal with. May all the good memories help you all get through this time of sorrow
