What a beautiful kind hearted lady. Remember her lovely smile and her willingness to accept me and our shenanigans when Liz and I were with her. Brings a smile to picture her at the stove mixing up a big pot of mac'n cheese.

Dear Chafe Family
On behave of the Bugler family, Deepest condolences. We understand your pain with the loss of our Mom over a year ago. They were such good friends and supporters of each other. I was one of three kids who stayed at your home , while Mom took another 3 to Boston, NY, for a convention around 1968. We had such fun and I got the mumps. Your Mom was so kind and gentle to us all. I learned a lot from watching our Moms face challenging time and still smile and laugh with us kids. I’m so grateful for them both. May your memories bring you comfort.

There are no words express the sadness we are all feeling.
Your Mom was a special lady to me in every way she will be dearly missed.
I can still remember as a young girl going to the Goulds for a skate on the pond and then go to you home for fresh baked Date and nut loaf out of the oven .
I will always remember your smile and her kindness.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Joan's family. Joan was a very special Aunt to me.....Aunt Joan lived with us for a few years in Kitchener, Ontario. When she moved to her apartment, Aunt Joan always loved having us over for dinner. Aunt Joan loved trying new recipes and entertaining. We always had fun times dining out, going to movies, going for walks and shopping. Joan had a zest for life and genuinely loved those close to her. Family was everything to Joan. She was a special sister and friend to my Mom (Madonna), Aunt Philly and Aunt Dee (all her sisters who lived in Ontario). She worked for many years with Madonna and Philly and they were even on a bowling league together (Joan was an amazing bowler and won trophies to showcase her bowling skills). Travels back to NL always meant a visit to see Aunt Joan. Aunt Joan's memory will live on in our heart's forever...she will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.

The Chafe Family,
There are no words to express the sadness we are all feeling. Your Mom held a special place in my heart as I’m sure she did with many people. She was one amazing woman. It’s never easy letting go of those we love but rest assured it won’t be for long as we await for the promise in John 5: 28,29 to be fulfilled.

Our condolences on the passing of your Mom. She was a very kind and loving person. When I visited her there was always a mug-up and special treats and even a goodie bag to go. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. She always said to me ,
