The daughter of the late John and Josephine Cousins, Betty grew up in Kelligrews. Leaving to mourn her loving sisters Ellen Pellerin and Johannah Cousins-Malti. Pre-deceased by her siblings William, Anne-Marie, Mary Margaret (Wheeler) and Gerald (Clara). Betty was beloved by her nieces and nephews Krystin, Mara, Beth Ann, Ruth Ellen, John Wayne, Adrian and a host of grandnieces and grandnephews and other relatives. Betty possessed a keen intellect and a sharp sense of humor. Her warmth and generous spirit made her beloved by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. The family truly appreciates the care given to Betty by the wonderful people at the Community Care Centre in Long Pond and in the Community Care Homes in which she lived over several decades. The family is grateful as well to the team at St. Luke’s Homes where she resided over the past year and to the medical team at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Betty was a woman of deep faith.
