Obituary of John Joseph Kiley

Kiley, John Joseph (Jack) Passed peacefully away at the Lakeside Home in Gander on Saturday, June 29, 2013, John Joseph (Jack) Kiley of Gander (formerly of Holyrood), age 89 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Mary, brothers: Jim, Tom, Cyril and Patrick Sr. nephews: Jerome, Patrick Jr. and Edward and sister-in-law Mary, also Best Friend of 50+ years Clyde Powell, Gander. Leaving to mourn sisters Cecilia Kieley, St. John's and Francis Newhook (Murdock), Dartmouth, NS. Also a large number of nieces, nephews. Also leaving to mourn is his devoted dear friend Rose Powell (husband Clyde deceased 2013) with whom Jack resided with for 50+ years and their sons and daughters who were very dear and loved by Jack. Visitation in Hickey's Funeral Home, Holyrood on Tuesday, July 2nd from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church, Holyrood on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood. Donations can be made to the Holy Cross Restoration Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
