Margaret Peddle

December 26th, 1948 - July 28th, 2023

Marg Peddle passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on July 28, 2023, at the age of 74 years. Marg was predeceased by her parents: Rita and Michael Meaney, brother: Joe and sisters: Ann, Rita and Sue.Marg acquired many friends over the years, many of whom she met during her years at Kelly’s Brook.  But none so close as her sister Mary.  They have been friends for all of their lives.  Together they have overcome many obstacles, shared countless memories and have been there for each other through it all.Leaving with many memories are daughters: Karen (Ron), Sharon (Sean) and sons: Leonard (Tammy), and Michael (Jennifer), sisters: Mary (Reg), Marie (Heck), brother in laws: Tony and Wade, grandchildren: Derrick, Jonathan (Lauren), Courtney (Brandon), Noah, Olivia, Megan (Zach) and Christopher.  As well as countless nieces and nephews. We want to give very special thanks to Jen, Mom’s daughter in law and her granddaughter Megan.  Together they have gotten Mom through the last hardest months of her life.  We will be forever grateful for the love and care they have given her in those last days. Also thank you to Palliative care for their compassion and care, as well as Mom’s family doctor, Dr. Crewe, who helped mom for many years. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Wednesday, August 2^nd, 2023 from 4 – 8 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 3^rd, 2023 at 11:30 am. Interment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
