Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on July 28th, 2023, age 85 years. Predeceased by her husband: Cyril, daughter: Catherine Mary. Left with fond and loving memories her children: Susan Burke, John, Tamara Dodgson, Stephen (Sherri), grandchildren: (her special M&M’s) Montgomery(Garam), Matthew, Maria (Austin),Mckensie(Andrew), Morgan, Melissa, Mitchell, special sisters: Joan, Pearl Hussey (Ed), Glenda Dawe (Allan), Gloria Janes (Don), brother-in-law: Gordon Mercer (Pam), sisters-in-law: Lorraine Jarvis (George), Margaret Thistle (Spencer) and Alma Mercer. Also, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thank you to the team at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion for their care and compassion. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Monday, July 31st, 2023 from 3 – 7 pm, Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 from 11 – 3 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 at 11 am. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Reader’s Hill Road, Long Pond.
