Hamilton Ina (nee Reid)

July 5^th, 1940, - September 13^th, 2023

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, September 13^th, 2023, Ina (Mercer) Hamilton (nee Reid) of Topsail, formerly from Dildo.

Predeceased by her first husband William Mercer and second husband William Hamilton, son Terry Hamilton, sister Gertie (Levi) Thorne, sisters in law Sadie Reid, Barb Reid, sister-in-law Betty (Bill) Whiffen.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Tony (Elaine) Mercer, Tim (Delores) Mercer, Sharon Mercer (Albert White), Elizabeth (Hugh) Eason, daughter in law Sharon Hamilton, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, Lloyd (Joyce) Reid, Calvin (Linda) Reid, Glen (Valerie) Reid, sister Melva (Kenny). Also, a large circle of family and friends and her fluffy dog Spicy.

Special thanks to her Home Care Workers Charlene Eason and Yvonne Walsh, Coombs Home Care, Doctors, Nurses and Staff of 7 East, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their exceptional care during her time there.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Saturday, September 16^th, 2023, and Sunday, September 17^th, 2023, from 2-4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm. Funeral service in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Monday, September 18^th, 2023, at 10 am. Interment in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
