Marion Butler
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Marion Butler Hunt on September 19th, 2023, at the age of 75.
Marion is predeceased by her parents Albert and Flora (Bishop) Butler, parents in law Samuel and Alvina (Whitten) Hunt. Brother David Butler, Brother in laws John, Leonard, Jim Hunt, granddaughter Aleigha Butler and special friend Cyril Butler.
Marion is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted husband Kevin Hunt, children Michael (Lisa) Butler, Kenneth (Lisa) Butler, Cindy & Rudy Newell and Christopher Hunt; grandchildren Sebastian, Jesa, Cameron, Paige, Tesslyn, Kayleigh, Dominic, Jeremy and Bailey; Brothers Bert (Joan) and Boyd Butler (Jeanette), Sister in Law Barb; Brother and Sister in laws Betty, (Gord deceased), Eileen (Dave), Gord (Jessie), Maud, June and Hilda. As well as aunts,uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who meant the world to her.
Marion had a zest for life. She loved to dance, she was the first person on the dance floor and the last to leave.Her family and friends were important to her, and she loved them dearly.
Special thanks to Community Health Nurse Janet Brown, nurses and staff of 5SB at the HSC, especially nurse Joe, CBS Fire Dept, and the CLB Old Comrades Branch 2 for your support.
We also extend a special thank you to those who have shown their support through Marion’s illness.
At Marion’s request cremation has taken place.
Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Thursday, September 21st, 2023, from 3 – 7 pm. Funeral service in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at 11 am. Interment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
