Dad was a man of many talents, he loved being outdoors, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved tending to his garden and greenhouse and spent many long days cutting his grass before his health prevented him from continuing his hobbies. His love for life helped him overcome many challenges on his lifelong journey- giving up was never an option. He was our Rock, Our Legend and Our Biggest Cheerleader attending many of the grandkids’ Diving, Gymnastics and Hockey Competitions. Dad always felt that his strong faith and trust in the Lord helped him move mountains. He prayed daily for the peace and chosen people of Israel. Dad was truly blessed with a compassionate care team.  Special thanks to his Physician Dr Roger Butler, of the Home Dementia Program, and his amazing team of Nurse Practitioners who allowed dad to Die with Dignity at Home. Dad also received the best care from his Home Care Workers, with heartfelt thanks going to Beverly, Katie and Marie, who’s caring support for Dad in his final days cannot be measured. You all hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks to Special Niece Roxanne, for being there always.
