My brother-in-law, Boyd, was one of the greatest people I have ever met. Even as I write this, I am in tears. I was lucky enough to see him multiple times over my past visit home and I am so happy that I did.
He has touched the lives of so many and been such a selfless soul. If not for him, my home in Foxtrap would still be in a state of repair!
I miss his humour, his sly smile, and his evident love for so many. He gave freely his time, his strength, his knowledge and his love. Words cannot adequately convey the sense of loss that so many must feel.
I know his last years were hard. I chose not to remember him in this way. I think of the many good times I had with him and simply being in his presence meant you were around a good person. Very few people in my life have had the effect Boyd has had on me.
I send my deepest condolences to Trixie, Boyd Jr., Billy and Natasha.
I am going to try to be a little bit more like Boyd. It's not at all going to be easy, but when you follow in his mighty footsteps, you do the best you can. That is the difference he has made in my life

Indeed a great man is gone.
It was an honor for Curt and I to have met Boyd a few years back and to become friends with him and Trixie.
