It is with great sadness the family of Leonard Brophy announces his peaceful passing on Friday, December 8^th, 2023, age 79 years. Leonard was born, raised and lived his life in the community of Holyrood. He enjoyed motoring, automobile repair and camping. Leonard was a man of admirable determination and resilience-always there to lend a helping hand. He is predeceased by his parents: Thomas Brophy and Bridget (Harding), sisters: Barbara Ann, Lillian (Howard), Bernice (Woodford), brothers: Robert and John. Leonard is survived by his sisters: Marie (Adams), Ann (King) and Helen, brothers: Tom and George. Leonard is survived by nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. The family extends its heartfelt appreciation to the many professionals at the Health Science Centre, especially those of the Neurology team and 4 South B. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Tuesday, December 12^th 2023 from 11:00 – 1:30 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Tuesday, December 12^th, 2023 at 2 pm.
