Elsie is the epitome of a family-oriented mother. Her legacy lives on through the memories we hold dear, the traditions she instilled, and the love she shared. She was a loving wife, compassionate sister, devoted mother, and #1 fan to her grandchildren.

She worked hard from a young age and made lots of sacrifices to make sure her family had everything they needed and wanted. She went above and beyond for anyone who was in need. Her love and compassion knew no bounds.

Elsie enjoyed a good time. Whether it was staying up late chatting with family or friends, dancing, singing or many nights where she was off to bingo or darts. She also loved the outdoors, their family vacations tenting, and in recent years, salmon fishing with Max.

Her home was always open to everyone: family, friends, her children’s friends and strangers. She made everyone who came through the door welcomed.  While her children grew up, she was known in the community as mom’s taxi. Her ability to whip up home-cooked meals that brought the entire family together. The aroma of her cooking would fill the air during family gatherings, creating a warm and comforting atmosphere that we will forever associate with her. Her culinary skills were a testament to her dedication as a mother and her desire to nurture those she loved.

Elsie faced every challenge with determination and resilience, setting an example for us all. Her strong-willed nature was a reflection of her love for her family, always striving to provide them with the best life possible.

May her spirit guide us as we continue to prioritize family and cherish the moments we have together.
