Uncle Larry and Aunt Emeline lived at Seal Cove (Conception Bay, Nl) however, they also had another home at Little Hearts Ease, near my uncle's birthplace of Southport. Aunt Emeline was in her element when she entertained family and friends, for she loved to cook and feed whoever showed up. Here we are visiting them at LHE a few years ago. Her door was always open. Mom (Ellie Spurrell) loved to tag along on those visits too.

Bob/Cathy Robyn/Vincent and the Winsor family my sincere condolences on the passing of your mom/grandmother/great-grandmother /mother-in-law. Emeline was such a wonderful person, always had a smile and made you welcome . My fondest memory of her was at her cabin when we went there a few times with Bob, she was cooking dinner and Lar/Dad had said’Emeline make me a sandwich for dinner because turkey was still on counter that won’t be cooked for dinner’. Bob was deep frying the turkey so he had his sandwich and turkey for dinner. He was very impressed with Bob that the turkey was cooked on time for dinner. I have her recipe for her homemade chocolate cake that I’ve made but had to call her a few times to make sure I had it right.Heaven has gained a beautiful angel with the largest wings so she can spread her smile . Keep your memories close to your heart and your pictures flowing they will help you through this difficult time.Til we meet again fly high Emeline and spread your smile and we will surely see it .

For the family…oh the memories…so sad to be reading Emiline’s obituary….she was such a beautiful person. Always a smile and the patience of a saint. I remember when we were kids…herself and Lorraine M would takes us all to Flats our favourite swimming hole…what a crowd of us…and all she would says is keep in on the side of the road. Saturday at the Winsors was clean up day and of course I would up there with Linda…everyone had a chore and nothing bothered her….God love her and Lar would be shouting and bawling at us from the basement and she would say…don’t mind him lol . I can’t say enough about her and I know she will be missed. She can soar with the angels now and watch you all from above. No more pain for her and she is reunited with your Dad again….peace knowing that for all of you!
