Dear Carol and family,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of the death of your beloved Tony. You were such good neighbours and friends to us when we first moved into our house in Upper Gullies. We became friends for life with you both, and enjoyed some wonderful parties, dinners, bbq's, lively discussions, and later holidays in the UK and Europe with you and your family. Hello Carole, We were so sad to learn of Tony's passing recently.Please give my condolences to your 3 boys, especially Mark whom I taught at St, Edward's school. It is always hard to lose a cherished loved one ,like Tony and I know that no words of comfort can ever be enough to help ease the pain and stress that his passing will make you all feel and endure. I am truly heartbroken by Tony's (uncle/godfather) passing. Just seemed so sudden despite his constant battle he so bravely fought. I am so sorry for the sadness this is bringing to the family, my heart is with you all. He never failed to put a smile on every face in the room, and he will continue to in spirit. Carol our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I had the privilege of working with Tony at the Coast Guard/DFO. Tony took great pride in his work. I was always amazed by Tony’s vast knowledge of the sites. Tony was the go to man if you had a question on the history of a site. He was always there to assist in any way he could.
Tony was a kind and gentle sole; a true gentleman! He will be truly missed.
