Obituary of William Tucker

It is with broken hearts, that we announce the passing of William Tucker on March 9, 2024, at the age of 69 after a brief but courageous battle with glioblastoma.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Josephine Tucker and his in-laws Stephen and Anne Parsley. Brothers Leo, Tom and Larry, sisters Marie and Gertrude. Brother-in law Charles and sisters-in laws Rose and Floss.
Left with fond and loving memories is his best friend and wife Mary of 41 years and his beloved fur companion Toby. Brothers John and Francis, sisters Shirley (Clarence) and Patricia.
Brother’s in law Steve (Mabel), Gerry (Gail), Kevin (Regina). Special nephews Dominic and Daniel and niece Keira. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Special thanks to our niece Charmaine (Mike) for the support throughout this difficult time.Special thanks going out to Pat (Harry) Tucker for all the love, support and faith she has provided us with. Also many thanks to our neighbours for all the help throughout the winter to ensure we were able to get to appointments and to everyone that helped in any way, your kindness is truly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
Willie was an active member in LiUNA Local 1208 for over 25 years. Willie was always active and always kept his hands busy. He truly enjoyed being able to go into the woods and being able to cut a load of wood. He loved being outdoors and spending time with family and especially his goldendoodle Toby, which he mentioned up until the end. He had a vibrant personality and always had a chat and laugh with whomever he met.

 Cremation has taken place, visitation in Hickeys Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Tuesday March 12, 2024 from 3-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuels on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at 10am. Burial Service at St. Edwards cemetery, Kelligrews.
