It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Passed peacefully away on March 18th, 2024, age 79 years surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother and father: Thomas and Winnifred, brothers and nephew: Darrell.
Leaving to mourn with treasure memories, her daughter: Bonnie (Dick), sons: Paul and Lionel, grandsons: Mitch (Katlyn), Alex (Natasha) and his mother Charlotte, great-grandsons: Carter, Spencer, Jackson and Trenton. Also, her fur babies, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Mom spent many years working as a nursing assistant caring for veterans at the DVA. She selflessly loved her family and put everyone first.
Our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Mike, a special friend who brightened mom’s day and to the staff at Glenbrook Lodge for the love and exceptional care they provided to mom.
Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, from 3 – 7 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 22nd, 2024, at 11 am. Interment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
