So many memories of Charlie . He lived just across the road from us . our homestead was where Taylor's Fish Market is now ..... I always looked up to Charlie even when we were young growing up . To me he always seemed to have a presence about him , as being quiet but wise . Gosh but he could play , marching in parades , band selections and at : TIMES : rocking out the accordian He could crack a joke but in a serious way that always got that extra laugh . There was a show on tv years ago featuring people in a ambulance originating in
California called Paramedic that dealt with tramua cases in the field that became a standard down the road . Charlie and his partner trained in this field of Paramedic on their own and entered a competition lnvolving teams from across Canada AND if i'm correct came in first of the best team of Paramedics Me and Ruth and the girls loved to see him come in the store . He had a lot of friends but there was two that i would like to mention , both with the same name : Charlie Bishop whom lived across from him on the access rd . and Charlie Bishop down on Greelytown RD. whom i thought was his brother . I can picture them now reunited in heaven , The Three Charlies , what yarns they are telling each .
