Louise Cull (DeGagne)
Sept 20, 1949-April 14th, 2024
Passed peacefully away on April 14, 2024, at 10:50 am at the age of 74 years. Mom is re-united with her precious family members who have gone before her. She is pre-deceased by her mother Emilia DeGagne and her father Ulysses DeGagne. Her siblings Roger [Doris], Ray, (Sue) Jake [Betty} Aurise [Armand], Yvonne [Richard]Leo [Jan] and Vinton (Arlene). Left with the fondest and most cherished memories her husband of 57 years Roy and her daughter Angela and son Derek. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Matthew [Kayla], Zachary [Megan], Chantal [Aron]. Mom dearly loved all of her grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her brothers Paul [Jan}, Ed [Karen], Marcel [Valdean]Emily [Bob]. Mom was born in Fort Frances Ontario. She was a bank teller, fisher woman and housewife. She loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time camping, gardening and volunteering with the hospitality group at Mary Queen of Peace church. Mom enjoyed making meals and baking and having family and friends around. She was an avid walker. Her and dad did a lot of this together. We are grateful for the exceptional and caring staff at Cradea manor where she was a part of their lovely personal care home family for the last year and a half. They all treated her with love and respect. All of the ladies there helped each other and were concerned about each other’s well being. The staff were very good to mom for sure. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South, Wednesday April 17th, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, at 11 am. Interment in Topsail United Cemetery, Topsail. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society will be greatly appreciated.
