We were all so very saddened to hear of dear Lylas passing.
She was an incredible young lady.
She had so much love and strength in her little body that was so admirable.
She has made such a memorable imprint on so many people's lives; she will be fondly and deeply missed by everyone she met.
We loved to see her visit the store with her grandparents. She always was smiling and laughing and full of joy. She always brightened our day. She loved to see all the fish and seafood. She especially loved to see the live lobsters and pick them up. She was fearless.
We have been
thinking of all her loved ones during these very difficult days.

Lovely Lyla is floating through transition on a river of love. Grief is love’s souvenir and I hold tightly onto a raft while navigating my river of tears. This schoolhouse called earth was lighter, brighter and infinitely more beautiful by Lyla’s presence - and will remain so in all the hearts she expanded with her love.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lyla when she started Grade 7 at Frank Robert’s Junior High. She was an absolute doll. Very thankful and caring for every little thing. At the end of the school year last year when she finished Grade 9 she gave us a beautiful picture of a butterfly that she drew and a lovely message that I will forever keep. I was so sad to hear that she had passed away. Sending condolences to her Mom and Dad and extended family at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of meeting Lyla last year when she was a student in my art class. Immediately Lyla demonstrated her creativity and love of the arts and she was a delight to teach. Her warmth towards her peers and to all who she interacted with was tangible. Lyla created a piece of art that was selected to be part of the school's art gallery and I was so happy to let her know that her work had been chosen. I was heartbroken to hear of Lyla's passing, and my thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time. Lyla was a star and I know she is twinkling down on us all.
