To the Beck Family, I send my sympathy and heartfelt condolences for your loss. John was larger than life and truly one of a kind. He was always present as a source of sound advice and selfless support to me. I considered him more of a big brother than a friend. I’m sure Albert, my Dad, knew he was coming. To be sure, they’ll be reminiscing their working days at Litton, checking out the odds on horses at Woodbine Race Track, and listening to Willie Nelson cranked to the max. He will be sadly missed by the whole Mortimer Wanstall family, and by my poorly behaved poodle Freddie..
