Joyce and Family, sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. I first met Fred when he started to work at ASKA sales and we became friends right away. He was a great worker and the saying at ASKA was if you need help ask Fred. we traveled all around Newfoundland and LABRADOR, installing electronics equipment. We had lots of good times at the Christmas parties. I’ll always cherish our friendship and our good times together.
I remember Fred’s Mechanical ability all too well. He was an expert in aligning bike wheels requiring a special touch adjusting the spokes to get it running properly. I spent many hours playing cowboys and indians and was welcome by his parents. Last time I saw Fred was in Hant’s Harbour a few years ago, he was there with Carmen Bailey and we all had a great conversation. RIP my man

I grew up as a child just up and across the rd from Mr. and Mrs. Belbin. Mr Belbin loved working with certain makes of bicycles and I can remember the foreign brands he had tucked away in his shed that he often worked on.
He fixed my flat tires and once took apart my Bicycle wheel to straighten it. I remember being amazed watching him adjust the tension of the spokes in order to make the wheel straight again.
I remember him as a no nonsense, generous, and Kind person.

We are so sad to learn of Fred's passing. He was such a sweet man and a dear friend. We have fond memories of our drives around CBN and Trinity Bay to attend open mic shows. Fred was a thoughtful and caring person and full of interesting stories. Our deepest condolences to Joyce and family. Rest in peace old friend.
