Howard David Cobb of Foxtrap, NL passed away peacefully on November 3rd at the age of 85 years.

Preceded in death by sons Vernon (Joslyn) Cobb and Vaughan Cobb.

Leaving to mourn his loving wife Verlie (née Blake) Cobb and daughters Yolanda (Mark) Stephens, Paulette (Dave) Wilson, grandchildren David (Yael) Katamay, Kirsten (Ben) Jones, Hillary Katamay, Natalie (Erich) Boettcher, Emily Wilson, great granddaughters, Claire and Evelyn Boettcher and extended family members and dear friends.

Howard grew up in Joe Batt’s Arm, Fogo Island where he first learned about his loving father Jehovah and met the love of his life, Verlie. They were married on July 4th, 1959. Over their 65 years together, they raised a family of four and enjoyed “sharing their faith and hope for the future” wherever they lived including Fogo Island, St. John’s and CBS.
