Rose and I grew up together in Flatrock and were very close friends throughout our adult life.

I remember your mom working next store to our family home when she was dating your dad and in later years we were in line dancing together.Your mom loved to dance and we had such fun times together,she was always the life of the party.I am so sorry for your loss but I know you have wonderful memories to share about her life.

My heartfelt condolences to Rosie’s children, Bill, Charlette, and Sherry as well as her three precious grandchildren whom she often spoke about and always with much pride. Also to her sisters and brothers.
We were lucky to have had her (and Charlie) in our lives with whom we shared fun times in Edmonton, St. John’s and Florida. One trip here in Edmonton took us two girls through the River Valley trails on bikes on a fun afternoon adventure and picnic which has been forever treasured by both of us participants.
Rose’s abrupt departure after a lovely telephone chat a week prior will stop us from making new memories but will not stop us from treasuring the old great memories we shared.
Rest in peace my dear friend.

Oh my miss rose ! The news the past few days has been so hard to accept! You were like a firecracker that could not be extinguished is the only way I ever seen you ! So upbeat and full of excitement!

To: Charlette, Sherry and Bill….I was shocked and saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. Rose and I go back a long way. We did a daily walk in Dunville for many years. Then I moved away but we kept in touch and and she often told me how much she missed our daily walks. I visited Rose in September when I was home to NL for a week. We had a short but enjoyable visit. Over the years every time I went home I would always go see her. We kept in touch on Facebook. Before I left NL Rose gave me a Food Carrier and I have used that dozens of times and I think of her every time I take it out to carry something to a potluck. I hope your memories of her will help you get through this difficult time. RIP Rose.
