Mrs Cole and family I hadn't heard of Mrs Parker's passing until today. I am very sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of you both as my first Girl Guide leaders (Brown Owl and Tawny Owl). As a Guider myself, I am often reminded of lessons I learned from them on fun, fairness and the Guiding spirit, although I never realized those lessons at the time. She has left a mark of kindness on many of us, and I am grateful Loretta
To the Parker Family, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Carol's passing....I was out of the country and didn't know until I returned. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest in peace my friend Carol!
Brian David and Teena, Mary and Charmaine. I was so saddened to learn of your loss. I was out of town last week or I would have been at the Funeral Home. I was in Guiding in Chamberlains District where I did a lot of volunteer work in Carol and Mary's Units. She was a kind, generous and fun woman who loved and taught children many things, including me. She showed respect, facilitated many fun learning experiences and offered encouragement to me and many other young women. We did the BEST crafts, some still on the family Christmas tree! Teena, Brian & David, I was so saddened to hear about your Mom. She was a wonderful lady. Of the many hours and days we spent hanging out at your place, your Mom always seemed happy to take care of us and have us running through her kitchen. My deepest condolences to you and your families, she will be greatly missed!
Brian , Teena and David. I was very sorry to hear of your Mom`s passing. I have very fond memories of your Mom while growing up : either coming there for Brownie and Guide meetings or to babysit you guys. I was always struck by how cool of a Mom she was and a warm and compassionate lady too. I hope your memories will get you through the difficult and sad days ahead.
