It is with great sadness that I hear about Alma's passing, but it is with great fondness that I remember her. I have so many happy memories of times spent with her; not only memories of her with me, but also with my entire family and many friends in CBS. She was a great supporter of us 'young' crowd when we were all still living home and involved in sports and such - helping us raise money and going on road trips with us - you would never know there was an age difference between us at all! She was like a mother hen to all of us that knew her for so many years at the Trip Inn - always looking out for us and keeping us out of trouble. The last time I was home I went to visit her. I'll never forget the big smile on her face when she saw me at the door - but that was Alma - she always had a big smile on her face. We went out for the afternoon to visit a few places and to our friend's house for a barbecue - she was my date! We had a great day and I'm very happy that I got the chance to have that last memory with her.
