A year has gone by already and memories of heather still linger on. Oh my, how many times we laughed at the lunch table, or she get up and grab that speaker and imitate one of those wonderful singers. How much did we laugh. Memories is what keep sus going! My thoughts and prayers are with you on the 1st anniversary of Heather's passing. Celebrate as she would! Keep smiling because she is smiling back at you saying some on let's dance! all my love.
I knew Heather for such a short time but I will never forget her. We worked together and she was so professional, above all, with such a positive attitude and so sweet. Seems to me she just kept smiling, no matter what she was facing. How blessed am I to have shared some time with her.

I did not know Heather but I can certainly remember her as a little girl when I visited with Suse and Malachy. She was a beautiful looking woman. Heather it is hard to say goodbye, I can hardly believe that you are not here physically amongst us anymore. I remember you so vivid, so clearly. The good times we had are etched in my mind, the recesses of it. But isn’t that all we have are our memories, and what is left of them. All I can say is that you must have had such exceptional parents to have become the person you were, and I can only base that on who you were back in the days of high school, and indeed you were that person who was bigger than life. Who was all that. Life is too short to not say what we think, and think about what we say, because someday we might not get that chance again…and here I am a victim of that reality. In some strange way I don’t feel death is the end, not truly…not completely. Utterly. What remains is the impact you’ve made on others while you’d lived, the difference and the sum of it. That being the case you had a sparkle, a zest, fulfilled by an inspiration to live while alive uncompromisingly without question. That contagiousness a rare quality indeed, sprinkled with an infectious spirit left behind, it’s hard not to miss what seems bigger than life itself taken all too soon, but never soon enough to evermore be forgotten by any and all who were blessed to have known you. Until we met again Heather let me say it now for it’s never too late: shine on my beautiful friend.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Vincent/King families along with the many many friends she has made over her lifetime..A lifetime that was taken way too early.Heather was an amazing woman with a heart made of gold.She had a smile that would light up the darkest of rooms.It's been many years since I spoke with her,but I have followed her progress with the help of Facebook,friends,family & news articles about her stem-cell transplants and her struggles that never stopped her from enjoying her life..Her strength will always be an inspiration to me and many others. I have many fond memories of Heather from our school years K-12,along with Girl Guides & camps. No words can describe how I feel for all of you right now. A parent should never have to bury their child. Paul, I can truly say I know how it feels because I am a widow.
