Dave, Mary and Family, it is so hard to know what to say at a time like this,especially when we are not there with you. Just know we are thinking of you and remembering the many wonderful memories. Susan and family, So sorry for the loss of your mom, its been many years since I have seen her but I always remember feeling welcomed in your home and her devotion to our church family, she was an amazing woman with a kind heart and strong faith. She will be well cared for in her new home! Sorry i did not get to visit you in the funeral home, take care and i hope we get to connect when you are back home again!
So sorry to hear of Jeans passing. I always enjoyed meeting her here and there over the years and we always made a little time for a chat. Having grown up around the Military and finally joining it for myself, I did not get to spend a lot of time with my Nan. But for a few short years living in Seal Cove and then St John's I was lucky enough to be with her almost daily. I will always remember time spent in her old house with Pop, still alive, playing as a child. Between kindergarten, having something to eat and a game of cards, time flew by at Nan's House. I'm still partial to having a fresh slide of home made bread cooked over the stove held up with the kettle; and a couple of games of crib with Nan and 45s with Pop will never leave my heart. Just a few of the memories that could only have been made at Nan's house.
As I look at my own kids now and see how they interact with their own Nana, I know that the same love and care that sparks from my mother Susan is the same that I felt as a child. As Alexander and Elizabeth make their own memories of Nana's house, during this difficult time I am taken back to when I made my own thanks to a truely caring and loving person.
Mom and Dad (Susan and Ron), you and the rest of the Bishops are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all - eat lots for us! We can't let it go to waste!

We have know jean for over twenty years when our daughter Karen starting dating her son Michael, today he is our son-in-law, she has been a part of our family every since, a great person and have always treated us like family, when ever we go. Home for a visit we always went to visit her, she would always reach out her hands and you always got that special hug and kiss, she will be missed so much by her children they were all so special to her, to our son- in - law mike we are thinking of you as you say good- bye to your mom I know it will not be easy with Mother's Day tomorrow but I know how you are feeling I loss my mom a week before Mother's Day and it is hard but you have lots of support you are home with your brothers and sisters and you have each other's support please know we are thinking of you all and we are watching out to your wife and daughter, love to Dave, Walter, Wayne, Glenys and Sue and you mike, stay strong Dave and Aggie
