I am so very sorry to hear about Aunt Rita's passing, which I learned of while researching my family in Newfoundland. I met Aunt Rita only once when I was a little girl, when she came to California to visit my grandmother (and her sister) Alice Miles. I can remember by Grandma Alice telling us about Rita. How wonderful that she led such a long full life.

Bernie, Shirley and families. So sorry for your loss. Your Mom (Aunt Reta) was very special lady. When I was was growing up our family home was her first stop when arriving and last stop when leaving to/from the USA. I still remember waiting for the American dollar she would always give us. These memories and more are what you hold onto. She will be missed. RIP Aunt Reta xo
