Obituary of Rupert John Byrne

Byrne, Rupert (John) Passed peacefully away at the L. A. Miller Centre on Friday, January 30, 2015 of Paradise (formerly of Great Paradise, Placentia), age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Augustus and Cecilia Byrne, sister Margaret O'Toole, mother and father-in-law Terrence and Joan O'Brien, brother-in-law Terrence O'Brien and sister-in-law Rita O'Brien. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Patricia of 43 years. Daughters Jeanie (Kenny Gilbert), Terrie Lynn (Tony Gale), Pam (Fred Holloway) and Krista (Craig Dalley), grandchildren, Mitchell, Emily, Ashley, Brooklyn, Cory, Tyler, Tiffany, Colby, Luke, Rupert and Oliver, brother Dominic (Ada), special nieces and nephew Carla, Renee and Gus, brothers and sisters in law Aiden O'Brien (Arlene), Suzanne Parsons (Rod), Bill O'Brien and Ann O'Brien, special friends Eugene Jones, Donny Pomeroy and George Pomeroy. Also many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including the families of Pomeroys, Jones, Powers, O'Briens and O'Tooles. Also many friends from Petit Forte, South East Bight, Marystown and Placentia. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 7 - 9 pm, Sunday from 2 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:30 am from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuel's. Interment in the R. C. Cemetery, Topsail. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children Wish Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
