Obituary of Shirley Marie Batten

Batten, Shirley Marie nee Blackmore Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 of Foxtrap formerly of Bell Island, age 76 yrs. Predeceased by her husband Allan. Leaving to mourn her loving family, daughter Rhonda (John Warren), sons Rod (Nancy Ann) and Randy, grandchildren Anna, Rebecca, Jonathan and Devon. Also leaving to mourn her two brothers Walt (Cynthia) and Don (Sandra Blackmore), three sisters Dorothy Furey (Queen), Laura(Orval Stortz), Roslyn (Gerald Power), two brothers-in-law Les (Stella) and Robert Batten. Also a large number of nieces, nephews and special friends, Julie, Barb, Beck, Debi, Laura and The ACW and Altar Guild of All Saints, Foxtrap and the Trefoil Guild. Special thanks to the staff of 4 West, St. Clare's and Dr. Morkar's Team. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm, Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, Friday from 10 - 11:30 am. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association , All Saints Anglican Church or to a charity of one's choice.
