I had the pleasure of getting to know Loretta as a neighbor on Cherry Lane. My daily walks often led me to a chat as she sat outside. She was always smiling and welcoming, showing her joy in living. She obviously was a good friend to others at the residence and will be missed by all who knew her, including me. My condolences to her family
I was saddened to hear of Loretta's passing. She was a lovely woman and always seemed to have a smile that lit up a room. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers to your family and friends.
I heard a lot about Aunt Lett growing up. Nanny (Floss) chatted with her on the phone a lot, and they were always writing back and forth, I liked hearing about Nanny's "Letters from Aunt Lett". I also Remember visiting with Aunt Lett, though we didn't get to see her as much as if we were located closer, but my memories of those visits are pleasant. xo
Loretta left this place we call earth with many footprints on all of our hearts. She had such a beautiul kind spirit. She always had a funny story to tell or a question that would get each and every one of us thinking, now how does this or that came about or work. She had such a zest for life. She had to fight to make each and every step and fought she did to keep going because she loved life to the fullest. She also loved us. She always let each of us know in her own way.
