It is with great sadness that I've heard of Hayward's passing. My late father (Clayton Barnes) and Hayward were good friends. One of my fondest memories is fishing with my dad and Hayward in Deer Park. On behalf of the Barnes family, please accept our condolences.

So sorry to hear about uncle Hayward guys, he was such a great uncle. I can still remember him almost 40 years ago building and teaching us kids how to walk on stilts at his cottage. I am so glad I had the chance to have a visit with him on my last trip down home. When I showed up he met me with a smile on his face and a hammer in his hand, No doubt in the middle of one of his many projects but true to character he put things on hold long enough to sit and have a nice chat with me and mom.
