Heaven better be ready for the party that is about to start!
The very beginning of my teenage years, your wonderful family became such a big part of my life. Reg made my laugh and cry, and the crying was always a happy cry! When our friend Karen Coates (Hickey) was married, Reg told us that noone could do the "twist" as good as him and that there was only him and Chubby Checker left that could twist so good! Well, when we got the song dedicated and sent out to him, repeating his bragging of his "twisting ability" and then made him dance with us, it was awesome! He did swear he would get revenge :) Then, leading up to Karen's wedding, he kept telling me....bring lots of tissues, as he had a surprise and he knew I would need them...but wouldn't tell me anything else.....When the Father/Daughter dance started, he had gotten the music and words to the song "Karen" and with help of a friend, recorded it to play while he danced with her....Not a dry eye in the place. These are just two of my favourite memories, however, every moment shared was special. I will be forever grateful for knowing such a truly wonderful man. RIP Reg xo
