I met Dos about 15 years ago at Ruth Mattucci's in Toronto. Ruth and I worked at the same high school. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Dos, and we spent a very pleasant afternoon with Ruth, her husband, and other staff members. I was fortunate to run into her again after I moved back home to NL. She was a very memorable, warm and friendly person. Deepest condolences to her family and friends.
Please accept our sincerely condolences to all the family on the passing of a loved mother and wife. Although we did not know Dos well the times that we did speak were memorable ones for us. She was such a kind and thoughtful person, always interested in what you had to say. A friendly smile with a warm welcome always greeted you every time we met. No matter how long since our last meeting she always remembered and welcomed you with open arms. It was our pleasure to have known her. We know she will be sadly missed.
I am so sorry to learn of Aunt Doris' passing. She was always kind and loving to me and my entire family. She will certainly be missed. Thinking of you all.

My sincerest heartfelt sympathies to Gus and your family. There have been only a precious few in my life who have made me feel as at home as Doris did whenever I had the chance to visit with her.
